The client is built with C++20 and Lua, featuring a modular architecture that makes it easy to customize the UI, gameplay systems, and create your own scripts or modules.What stands out the most is the flexibility. Almost everything can be modified through Lua without touching the core source code, which is a huge advantage for OpenTibia developers. The client also includes support for shaders, advanced effects, multi-language systems, and even browser/WebAssembly builds through OTClient Redemption.Another great thing is that the project is still actively maintained. There are frequent updates, support for newer Tibia protocols like 13.20/13.21, and continuous improvements for Android and web builds.For anyone running Canary or other modern OTServ projects, this is probably one of the strongest open-source clients available right now.
